RUSTIC BEAUTY
The work Rustic beauty is a commentary on the hard fact of being a farmer in Norway as well as world wide in these days of globalisation. I grew up on the countryside and still today I carry this naive romantic dream of a harmonic life on a farm. The work consist of plates decorated with drawings found in a painting book for children, transferred as ceramic prints. There are also 92 vases, 1 for each day in the summer-months of June, July and August.
